Hollywood legend Sharon Stone has openly shared about the most difficult period of her life — her struggle with the aftermath of a stroke she suffered in 2001. In an interview, she admitted that for years she took the medications prescribed by doctors, but last September she made a bold decision — to stop taking one of them, despite the doctors' warnings.

### "I Want My Life Back"

"They said: 'You can't stop. You will never be able to stop.' I said: 'I am stopping,' and it was very hard. I was vomiting like a dog for four and a half months. I just thought: 'I want my life back'," the actress recalls.

Quitting the medication was a real test for her, but this step became a turning point in her recovery. After this, Stone decided to review other habits as well — in particular, she completely quit smoking cannabis, which, according to her neurologist, could have worsened her condition.

### From the Runway to Broadway: Creative Rebirth

Despite physical difficulties, Stone did not stop. She returned to painting — during the pandemic, she set up a studio in her home, and now her paintings are sold in galleries around the world. In June 2024, she walked the runway for the first time in 33 years — becoming the closing model for the Vetements show in Paris.

The actress is also active in the film industry: she can be seen in the series "Euphoria," the action film "Nobody 2," and other projects. And in the plans — a return to the theater stage: Stone has repeatedly spoken about her dream to perform on Broadway and is even developing her own ideas for plays.

### The Secret to Thick Hair After a Stroke

Separately, the actress shared a secret that helped her keep her hair thick after a stroke — although she did not reveal the details of the method, emphasizing that it is the result of comprehensive work on health and lifestyle.

Today, Sharon Stone calls the last year a period of her return to a full life. Despite past trials, she continues to work, create, and inspire — proving that even after the heaviest blows of fate, one can find a path to a new beginning.
