It has become known that the unit has temporarily halted the recruitment of new recruits. This decision follows a new directive from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), aimed at auditing and reviewing the recruitment system across all military units. ### Official Position of the Command The information regarding the suspension of recruitment was confirmed by Oleksandr Bratushchak, head of the communications department of the 425th SAR. Speaking to journalists, he emphasized that the General Staff has initiated a thorough inspection of how various army units are staffed. The main goal of this initiative is to ensure a fair distribution of personnel across all fronts and units. The regiment's representative noted that 'Skala' fully supports this decision. The command is ready to provide comprehensive assistance in implementing new plans and responding to the challenges the army faces at the current stage of the war. ### Strategic Role and Future of the Regiment Despite the current pause in recruitment, the combat potential of the unit remains high. 'Skala' is an active participant in the drone-assault unit program. According to command data, the regiment is among the top twenty units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in terms of the number of targets destroyed using unmanned systems. The publication 'Ukrainska Pravda', citing sources in assault regiments, reports that all similar units of the Ground Forces have received an order to stop recruitment. Additionally, the transfer of military personnel between units has been frozen. The decision was made by the new Commander-in-Chief of the AFU, Mykhailo Drapatiy.
