The Women's Tennis Association (WTA) has updated the world rankings following the tournaments held from July 20 to 26. In the updated standings, Ukrainian tennis has made a powerful leap: two Ukrainian representatives — Daria Snigur and Alexandra Oleynikova — have set their own career-highs, placing side by side in the elite top-50.

### Daria Snigur's historic breakthrough

24-year-old Daria Snigur made the most impressive jump in the updated rankings. After reaching the final of a WTA 250 tournament in Prague for the first time in her career, where she lost to Austrian Lulu Taggar, the Ukrainian player climbed 11 positions. Thanks to this success, Snigur has entered the top-50 of the world rankings for the first time in her career, securing a solid 43rd place.

### Alexandra Oleynikova's record

Right behind Snigur, at 44th place, is Alexandra Oleynikova. Despite unfortunate circumstances that forced the player to withdraw from the quarterfinals of the Hamburg tournament due to injuries, the points earned allowed her to update her personal record. Oleynikova moved up one position, solidifying her place in the top 50 of the world's best players.

### Leaders of Ukrainian tennis

Elina Svitolina and Marta Kostyuk remain the number one and number two players of Ukraine. Both tennis players missed the previous week of play but managed to maintain their positions, taking 10th and 11th places in the world rankings, respectively.

### Progress of other Ukrainian athletes

In addition to the leaders, Veronika Podrez also made a record rise, improving her result by 6 positions and now occupying 134th place. Angelina Kalinina, who stopped at the border of the top-50, and Dayana Yastremska also showed positive dynamics.

### Situation in the world top-3

At the top of the WTA world rankings remains the "neutral" Aryna Sabalenka. The second position is held by Kazakhstani Elena Rybakina, and the top three is completed by American Jessica Pegula.
