# SoloHa on Anya Trincher's 'plagiarism': 'They copied from "Bulochka", but I'm not accusing her'

Ukrainian singer SoloHa commented on the situation surrounding the similarities between her music video "Bulochka" and Anya Trincher's recent video. The artist admitted that she initially perceived the coincidences as borrowing but now does not consider her words a direct accusation of plagiarism.

### "They copied from "Bulochka": that was my first emotion"

SoloHa shared that immediately after Trincher's video was released, she noticed numerous identical details. "I just wrote that they copied from "Bulochka". That was my first emotion. One person, then another started sending me links: "Look, "Bulochka", it's "Bulochka!". I saw all these nuances: how I cracked an egg, and she cracks it the same way. There were so many coincidences! Even my director specifically made a montage," — the singer shared.

According to her, the similarity was so obvious that even professionals in SoloHa's team noticed it. However, the artist herself emphasizes that she does not want to accuse her colleague of conscious plagiarism.

### "We know each other, but haven't discussed it personally"

SoloHa clarified that she and Anya Trincher know each other personally: "She didn't answer me. Although we know each other, we always say hello, hug, kiss, and go to the same gym." The singer noted that in the show business, there is often a desire to divide people into "for" and "against," but she does not seek conflict.

"I'm not telling anyone that this is bad. On the contrary, I'm very pleased that they were inspired. I am sure that Anya 100% saw this video because she is in the show business," — SoloHa stated.

### "It was impossible not to see the video"

The artist reminded that her video "Bulochka" at one time received heavy rotation on channels "M1" and "M2", where it was watched by millions of viewers. "Maybe she didn't know about all these moments. Well, they could have changed at least a little bit," — added the singer, expressing hope that Trincher might not have noticed all the details.

### "The whole show business communicates like this"

SoloHa also commented on the reaction of some users who accused her of making too harsh statements about colleagues. In her opinion, such discussions are a common occurrence in the Ukrainian show business.

"Yes, our entire show business communicates like this: either you become interesting, or people only remember you when you express an opinion about colleagues. Artists consciously go for this to create an atmosphere in the show business. Because if you don't do this and aren't honest," — the singer explained.

SoloHa emphasized that she talks about colleagues only when asked and always answers honestly. "Why would I just talk about them? But if they ask, I answer honestly. So the more such discussions, the more interesting. People at least get distracted from negative news and what is happening in the country," — she concluded.

### Public resonance

In early May, SoloHa drew attention to Trincher's new video and stated the similarity of certain scenes to her video work "Bulochka". At that time, the artist left a comment under the post and wrote that she saw too many familiar elements.

After this, a discussion erupted on social media: some users supported the singer's position and agreed that there are similar shots between the works, while others claimed that it is just about popular artistic techniques and coincidences.
