FIFA has officially concluded the individual voting results for the 2026 World Cup. The finalists, in which Spain defeated Argentina, demonstrated absolute dominance, sweeping almost all individual tournament categories.

According to data published on the organization's official website, the Spanish national team became the main beneficiary of the awards ceremony. Representatives of the "La Roja" secured three of the four major individual trophies, underscoring the total superiority of Luis de la Fuente's squad at this World Cup.

### Rodri — Best Player of the Tournament

The most prestigious award, the "Golden Ball" for the best player of the World Cup, was awarded to the captain of the Spanish national team, Rodri. The midfielder was recognized as the main architect of his team's success. Throughout the tournament, he demonstrated phenomenal stability, completely controlled the tempo of the game in midfield, and took on leadership roles in the most critical moments.

### Records for the Goalkeeper and Young Defender

The Spanish also secured awards recognizing defensive reliability. The "Golden Glove" for the best goalkeeper went to Unai Simón. The goalkeeper set an absolute record in World Cup history by recording 7 "clean sheets" in a single tournament. Furthermore, Simón achieved the longest streak of goals conceded without conceding in the history of the World Cup.

The award for the best young player was won by 19-year-old center-back Pau Cubarsí. The young player demonstrated maturity beyond his years, becoming a leader of the defensive line. Thanks to his actions, Spain's defense set another historical World Cup record, conceding only one goal throughout the entire tournament.

### Fair Play Award

The only award not won by the Spanish went to the Netherlands national team. The team was honored with the Fair Play award for the tournament. It was previously reported that the Argentine national team, which lost in the final, set an anti-record for the World Cup, however, in individual categories, the Argentines could not compete with the winners.
