# Strike deep in the rear: how Ukraine's UAV forces destroyed Russia's logistics in Donbas and Crimea

Ukraine's Unmanned Aerial Systems Forces (UAV Forces) have demonstrated the ability to deliver precise and massive strikes deep into the enemy's rear. Operators of the 413rd Separate UAV Regiment "Raid" successfully destroyed key logistical infrastructure of Russian occupation troops in the Donetsk region.

### Destroying logistics hubs in Donbas

According to the 413rd Regiment, strikes were carried out on the intersection of strategically important railway and road routes. These routes were used by Russian military forces to accumulate manpower and material resources before an offensive. The unit's report paid special attention to the geography of the operation: some of the attacked objects are located in Donbas, occupied since 2014.

These actions confirm that Ukrainian drones are capable of reaching the enemy far beyond the front line, disrupting its rear support.

### Blocking routes and the "burning night"

The strikes in the Donetsk region were part of a series of successful UAV operations. Earlier, fighters of the 412nd Brigade "Nemesis", together with other units, blocked the R-280 logistics corridor in southern Ukraine. Using secret strike drones, the military cut off the "Mariupol – Melitopol – Simferopol" route, which led to the destruction of enemy equipment and cargo.

On the night of May 30, the scale of the operation was even more impressive. UAV pilots launched massive strikes on 23 military and logistical objects in the enemy's operational depth, including the territory of the Russian Federation and occupied Crimea. As a result of the "burning night", the following were hit:

    - An oil depot in Taganrog;

    - A marine oil terminal in Feodosia;

    - A tanker of Russia's "shadow fleet".

In addition, during the attack, a training ground of a Russian brigade that previously committed atrocities in Bucha was destroyed. Strikes were delivered from a distance of 70 to 100 kilometers from the front line. As a result, 21 successful hits on military camps and warehouses of several Russian armies were recorded.
