A new incident has been recorded in Ukraine, confirming the escalation of hostile actions against civilian infrastructure. Russian armed forces struck a site where scheduled roadworks were being carried out, resulting in the destruction of 10 units of specialized machinery. Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries among the road crew.

Details of the incident were released by the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine. According to official information, the attack was carried out using an unmanned aerial vehicle (drone) that hit the road workers' operating zone directly. The strike targeted machinery that was currently engaged in road restoration.

### Target of the attack: logistics and supply

The ministry emphasized that the crew under attack was performing critically important tasks. The workers were ensuring transport connectivity for local communities, carrying out repairs necessary for humanitarian transport and the defense needs of the country. The ministry noted that the enemy is deliberately attacking civilian specialists whose daily work ensures the functioning of the state.

Despite the constant threat of shelling, the restoration of the road network continues. After completing scheduled repairs related to the aftermath of the winter period, road services shifted their focus to specific sections. Currently, the priority is front-line routes and roads of strategic importance for the logistical support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

### Context: a series of attacks in the Dnipropetrovsk region

This incident occurred against the backdrop of increased hostile activity in the region. On the day of June 3, the Russian army carried out a repeat shelling of the Dnipropetrovsk region. As a result of this attack, a logistics facility of the ATB network was destroyed, and the "Nova Poshta" terminal sustained significant damage.

During those strikes by the occupiers, 8 people sustained injuries of varying severity, three of whom were hospitalized in serious condition. This series of attacks coincided with the day of mourning declared in Dnipro following a massive combined strike by the Russian Federation on the night of June 2.

That night, the enemy used ballistic, cruise, and hypersonic missiles, as well as strike drones, against the regional center. In a residential district of the city, several apartment buildings, an enterprise, and a fire station were partially destroyed. Search and rescue operations confirmed the death of 16 people, with another 42 injured.

### Arrest of a saboteur

Subsequently, the Security Service of Ukraine promptly detained a Russian agent who was coordinating this deadly strike. The traitor turned out to be a former serviceman with a Russian passport. He was recording coordinates and flight routes of Ukrainian aviation, attempting to find "weak points" in the region's air defense.
