On the night of July 6, Deep Strike units of the Special Operations Forces (SSO) of Ukraine carried out a series of coordinated strikes on key Russian fuel logistics facilities. As a result of the attacks, a "Volganeft" class oil tanker located in the Sea of Azov and a major oil terminal in the port of Kerch were hit.

### Strike on the Enemy's Naval Fleet

According to Ukrainian military sources, the Russian tanker targeted by the strike is a crucial link in the chain of petroleum product transportation. Such vessels are actively used by the Russian side to move fuel between oil refineries (ORs) and ports, ensuring uninterrupted supply. An attack on the vessel in the Sea of Azov deals a direct blow to the mobility of Russian energy resources.

### Damage to Infrastructure in Crimea

Simultaneously with the strike on the tanker, SSO fighters hit an oil terminal in the port of Kerch, located on the territory of the occupied peninsula. This facility plays a critical role in regional logistics. The terminal ensures the reception, storage, and transshipment of oil, connecting railway lines, tank farms, and sea tankers. The destruction or damage to such infrastructure paralyzes the ability to export and distribute fuel in Crimea.

"The results of the strikes are being clarified," the Special Operations Forces noted, emphasizing that the exact extent of the damage will be known after a detailed assessment of intelligence data.

### Strategy of Long-Range Sanctions

Military officials emphasize that these operations are part of a strategy to continue long-range sanctions against the Russian oil industry. The goal of the attacks is not only to inflict material damage but also to create long-term logistical problems for the Russian economy and military needs.

These are not isolated actions within the campaign to strike the enemy's energy infrastructure. Previously, Ukrainian forces attacked an oil terminal in St. Petersburg and one of the largest Russian oil refineries. The SSO has also demonstrated the effectiveness of strikes on railway tracks through the North Crimean Canal, confirming a systematic approach to destroying the enemy's logistical chains.
