On the morning of June 14, the Russian side struck critical infrastructure in the Kharkiv region. The main target of the attack was the Lozova railway station, where locomotives were damaged as a result of the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

### Consequences of the attack and casualties

According to information from the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine, published by RBK-Ukraine, the strikes caused significant damage to the rolling stock. As a result of the incident, two railway employees — a locomotive engineer and an assistant engineer — sustained injuries. Both victims received the necessary medical assistance.

Relevant services are already working at the scene to eliminate the consequences of the strike and restore the damaged infrastructure. Despite the situation, railway workers continue to perform their duties, ensuring stable transportation in the region.

### Context of night attacks

The incident in Lozova occurred against the backdrop of a large-scale air attack. On the night of June 14, Russia launched 98 strike drones against Ukrainian territory. Air defense forces intercepted and shot down most of the drones, but some managed to reach their targets.

That same morning, Russian military forces also struck a light industry enterprise in Dnipro. Seven people were injured as a result of this shelling. The attack on Lozova station became another confirmation of the continued pressure on Ukraine's logistics hubs.
