The situation in Zaporizhzhia escalated sharply on Monday, June 29. The day began with a series of coordinated attacks by Russian occupiers on the city's civilian infrastructure and administrative buildings. The main targets of the day were the building of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration and public transport carrying civilians.

### Attack on the Regional Administration

Russian military forces struck the building of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration directly. This was officially reported by the Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov. According to him, a fire broke out as a result of the impact, which was promptly contained.

Fortunately, no one was injured during the attack on the administrative building. Despite the fire, rescue services managed the situation, preventing the spread of flames and potential casualties among the staff.

### Tragedy on Public Transport

Parallel to the strike on the Regional Administration, occupiers carried out a series of attacks on civilian transport in the city, resulting in casualties and numerous injuries.

During one of the attacks, a kamikaze drone hit a minibus. According to the latest data, three people died as a result of this incident. Eight passengers sustained injuries of varying severity. Among the victims were people aged between 50 and 77. Medical personnel diagnosed them with shrapnel wounds, concussions, and abrasions.

A second incident involved a bus. A drone exploded in the immediate vicinity of the vehicle. As a result of the explosion, seven people were injured, including two children.

### Escalation and Warnings

The series of attacks on June 29 confirms the previously voiced forecasts of Ukrainian intelligence services. Recently, the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine warned that Russian command had been ordered to significantly increase the intensity of drone strikes on civilian objects in Zaporizhzhia.

The events of the past day demonstrate that these threats have moved from the category of warnings to reality, putting the lives of civilians and the operational capacity of the region's administrative bodies at risk.
