Ukrainian Armed Forces and the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) carried out a series of large-scale long-range operations, striking critical facilities of Russia's fuel and energy complex. As a result of attacks conducted within a single day, facilities in the southern part of the country and in the Volga region, located at a significant distance from the front line, were damaged.

### Attack on the Kuban: Strike on a Strategic Base

During the night, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces attacked the "Poltavskaya" oil depot located in the Krasnodar Krai. The facility is approximately 300 kilometers from the line of contact. According to sources, the attack caused fires on the territory of the base, which is considered strategically important for fueling the region.

### Strikes in Ufa: 1500 Kilometers from the Front

In the morning of the same day, a series of strikes followed in Bashkortostan. The SBU confirmed an attack on two major oil refineries in Ufa: "Bashneft-Ufaneftekhim" and "Bashneft-Novoil". The distance to these facilities from the front line is about 1500 kilometers.

According to a statement by the intelligence services, Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) struck production capacities that are the "heart" of the plants. According to the SBU, Atmospheric Vacuum Distillation (AVT) units, which provide primary oil refining, were hit. After explosions at the enterprise sites, fires broke out, which is confirmed by media materials recording at least two fire foci.

### Kyiv's Position: "Plan for Long-Range Sanctions"

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on these events in his post, calling them part of a "plan for long-range sanctions." He emphasized that such operations are consistent and precise responses to Russia's prolongation of the war and regular strikes on Ukrainian cities.

"Russians should think about real diplomacy, not try to deceive someone again or buy time. The war needs to be ended," the head of state stated, thanking the military for the precision of the strikes delivered.

### Situation in Crimea

Parallel to the attacks on oil refining capacities, the consequences of a night raid were also recorded in Crimea. Loud explosions were heard in the area of the Tavricheskaya and Balaklavskaya thermal power plants. Preliminary data indicates that as a result of attacks on the energy infrastructure of the peninsula, power supply interruptions (blackouts) were observed.
