On the morning of June 2, Kyiv was subjected to a new attack by Russia. Powerful explosions rocked the capital, linked to the use of ballistic weapons. Events unfolded rapidly: the air raid alarm sounded at 07:17, and within minutes, the city was shaken by explosions.

### Urgent Warning and Start of the Strike

The Kyiv City Military Administration issued an urgent message to the capital's residents via its Telegram channel. It contained a direct instruction to immediately seek the nearest shelters due to the threat of ballistic weapon use. The official text urged people not to ignore air raid alarms and to remain in safe zones until the danger had fully passed.

### Missiles from the South and a Series of Explosions

Simultaneously with the warning, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine detected a threat of ballistic missile use from the southern direction. Missiles heading towards Kyiv were identified. Just a few minutes after the targets were detected, a series of very loud explosions was heard in the capital, confirming the start of the strike.

### Scale of the Air Raid Alarm

As of 07:27, the air raid alarm was active not only in the capital but also in most regions of Ukraine. The alarm map showed that the threat covered a significant territory of the country, requiring the population to comply with safety measures everywhere.

### Results of the Night Combined Attack

The strikes on the morning of June 2 were a continuation of a combined attack that Russia had launched earlier that night. The adversary used a wide range of weaponry: drones, ballistic missiles, and cruise missiles. Kyiv was once again the main target of the aggression. According to preliminary data, damage to residential buildings has been recorded in many districts of the capital, and some buildings have been partially destroyed.
