# Syrsky on Belarusian repeaters: "They have not yet been dismantled, but we are ready"

![Lieutenant General Serhiy Tsiganok (Syrsky) in military uniform against a green backdrop, discussing the situation with Belarusian repeaters](https://xab.info/media/2026/06/30/syrskiy-o-beloruskih-retranslyatorah-ony-eshe-ne-demontirovany/syrskiy-o-beloruskih-retranslyatorah-ony-eshe-ne-demontirovany-1.webp)

The situation on the Belarusian front remains tense. Despite statements about the cessation of infrastructure used for guiding Russian drones, one of the repeaters was activated again. This was stated by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky, in an interview with TSN.

### Repeaters are still in place

According to Syrsky, the technical facilities that Russia uses to control drones have not yet been physically dismantled by the Belarusian side. However, the Ukrainian command is recording attempts to use them.

"They have not yet been dismantled. Yesterday, one repeater was turned on," the Commander-in-Chief stated. At the same time, he expressed confidence that such actions would not continue in the future.

### Response to the question about dismantling

During the conversation, journalists asked Syrsky whether the physical shutdown of these repeaters is planned. To this question, the commander answered evasively, not revealing details of operational work.

"I cannot tell you everything. I think they realize that this should not be done," he noted, adding that the enemy must understand the futility of such attempts.

### AFU readiness to counter threats

Oleksandr Syrsky emphasized that the Ukrainian army is fully ready to counter threats from the Belarusian direction. According to him, the military has the necessary experience, trained crews, and all the necessary means to neutralize hostile drones.

"We have experience, we have trained crews, we have everything to not fear actions in this direction. At least, to rule out the possibility of enemy UAV flights along the border," Syrsky concluded.

### Zelenskyy's warning

Recall that the issue of repeaters became acute after a statement by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, on June 19. He called on Alexander Lukashenko to dismantle facilities used to guide "Shahed" drones, giving him a week to do so. Zelenskyy warned that in the event of inaction, Ukraine would destroy these facilities itself.

Just a few days later, Belarusian media reported the cessation of drone flights along the border. On June 24, Zelenskyy confirmed that the repeaters had stopped working. However, as the latest incident showed, the threat remains, and the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to keep the situation under control.
