On Friday, July 24, the sky over the country will be changeable, and forecasters warn of the possibility of powerful atmospheric discharges. However, behind the clouds and rain, the return of real summer heat is already looming, which, according to preliminary data, will be established in early August. ### Thunderstorms and yellow danger level According to the forecast of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, on July 24 the weather will be characterized by variable cloudiness. During the day, forecasters predict an increase in thunderstorm activity. A yellow danger level has been declared for many regions of the country — this is a signal that dangerous meteorological phenomena are possible, which could complicate travel and affect daily life. The forecast map from UHMC specialists shows the areas where the probability of precipitation and thunderstorms is highest. Under such conditions, it is important to take precautions and keep an eye on forecast updates. ### Weather in Kyiv and the region The capital and the Kyiv region also fall into the zone of influence of unstable weather. On July 24, Kyiv is expected to have variable cloudiness with a risk of short-term rain. City dwellers should be prepared for a sudden change in weather: from scorching heat to a downpour, only a few hours may pass. ### Return of heat: forecast for the weekend and the beginning of the week Despite the ominous forecasts for Friday, the weekend promises to be sunnier. Meteorologist and forecaster Natalka Dydenko noted in her Facebook account that on Saturday and Sunday (July 25–26), warming will begin in regions where it was cool. The peak of the temperature rise is expected as early as Monday, July 27. In some areas, thermometer columns may soar to the mark of +30...+32°C. This will be real summer heat, which vacationers and tourists are waiting for. However, the synoptic situation remains unstable. On Tuesday and Wednesday (July 28–29), a slight temperature drop is likely. But experts do not rule out that this is only a temporary phenomenon. ### Real heat in August According to preliminary forecasts, the beginning of August will become a turning point. It is during this period, according to experts, that stable heat will finally come to Ukraine. This means that summer will enter its classic phase with high temperatures and clear skies. Thus, the end of July will become a period of transition from unstable weather with thunderstorms to a stable summer regime. Forecasters continue to monitor the situation, and forecasts may be adjusted as atmospheric fronts change.
