Ukrainian actors Valentin Tomusyak and Ekaterina Tyshkevich, preparing to become parents for the first time, have shared joyful news. The couple held a gender reveal party and found out they are expecting a son. The lovers published touching clips from the celebration and revealed the name they have chosen for the baby.

### Unexpected result and the son's name

Ekaterina Tyshkevich posted a video on Instagram from the event where she and her husband found out the gender of their unborn child. The actress admitted that the result was a surprise for them. Despite the fact that the couple had always imagined themselves as parents of a daughter, a boy will join their family this autumn.

"Our subscribers' voting showed that 75% were sure: we would have a girl. To be honest, we ourselves somehow always imagined ourselves as parents of a girl. Therefore, it is even more interesting that a son will come into our lives this autumn," wrote Ekaterina.

The future parents addressed the baby and named him. The child will be named Danelik. "Danelik. Danya. Daniel. You have already managed to surprise both your parents and our audience. We are waiting to meet you, our little massipusik," shared the actress.

### Ukrainian style and cozy atmosphere

To celebrate the event, the actors chose a home atmosphere in the courtyard. Ekaterina described it as turning a "super modest yard into a real Instagram fairytale." The couple deliberately chose images in the Ukrainian style: the actress wore a long embroidered dress (vyshyvanka), and her husband wore an embroidered shirt and white shorts.

The location was decorated with flowers. Among the festive details was a gender reveal cake, vegan sweets, and a special stand where guests could leave their predictions.

### Love story and a conscious decision

Valentin Tomusyak and Ekaterina Tyshkevich have been in a relationship since 2015 and officially got married in 2019. They announced the upcoming addition to the family in June of this year, when Ekaterina was five months pregnant.

The actress previously admitted that the decision to have a child was fully conscious. The couple approached the question seriously, including consulting with a doctor before starting family planning.
