At the moment, all company trains are delayed at stations. According to official data, the technical accident affected the GSM-R system — a global mobile communication system that provides a critical communication channel between locomotive drivers and traffic control centers.

Representatives of Deutsche Bahn confirmed that the cause of the failure has already been identified. The accident affected internal communication channels, making further train movement impossible. Deutsche Bahn CEO Evelyn Palla commented on the current situation in an interview with Bild. She noted that the top priority now is to deliver stranded trains to the nearest stations so that passengers can safely leave the trains.

Travelers are urged to seek alternative modes of transport, as significant delays and cancellations are expected. Deutsche Bahn has officially apologized for the situation and announced support measures for those affected:

- Payment for hotel accommodation for those unable to reach their destination.
