# Tragedy in Vishneve: Zelenskyy confirms deaths in attack on 'Ukroboronprom' warehouse

On the night of July 6, a massive tragedy occurred in the city of Vishneve in the Kyiv region. Russian occupiers struck an ammunition warehouse belonging to one of the enterprises of the state concern 'Ukroboronprom'. The consequences of the attack were catastrophic: secondary explosions destroyed five streets, and the air in the city was heavily contaminated.

### Casualties and destruction

According to the latest data, nine people were killed and 18 others were injured as a result of the attack and subsequent detonation. Some residents of the city were forced to evacuate due to the threat to life and health. The destruction is extensive, and the consequences of the explosions continue to be felt by the local population.

### President's reaction

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy personally commented on the incident, answering questions from journalists. The head of state confirmed that the strike was indeed on an ammunition warehouse and noted that the high number of casualties and fatalities was due precisely to this factor.

Zelenskyy emphasized that he has already received full information on the investigation from the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Office of the Prosecutor General. A criminal case has already been opened regarding the tragedy.

### Punishment for the guilty

During his speech, the president gave a harsh assessment of the actions of the enterprise leadership whose balance sheet included the warehouse. "The guilty will be held criminally liable and, of course, will be fired from 'Ukroboronprom'," Volodymyr Zelenskyy assured.

Immediately after the attack, the head of state instructed the SBU and intelligence agencies to thoroughly investigate all circumstances of the incident to determine why the ammunition warehouse ended up in the strike zone and how safety regulations were violated.
