On the evening of July 3, the city of Zaporizhzhia came under attack once again. Russian military forces used FPV drones to strike civilian objects. One of the targets of the attack was Branch No. 7 of the logistics company 'Nova Poshta'. As a result of the assault, an employee of the enterprise was killed.

### Tragedy at the Workplace

According to the press service of 'Nova Poshta', citing emergency services, rescuers and law enforcement officers promptly arrived at the scene. As a result of the attack, the company's driver, Valeriy Hafikin, was killed. He was 50 years old. Death occurred either on the spot or as a result of injuries sustained from munitions hitting the branch building.

"Last evening, Russians attacked the city. Branch No. 7 of 'Nova Poshta' was damaged," the company confirmed.

### Logistics Under Threat

Despite the destruction and human casualties, the company stated that it remains operational. The press service noted that 'Nova Poshta' has promptly restructured its logistics chains. According to company representatives, delivery delays are not expected, and customer shipments have been preserved.

### Context of Escalation in Zaporizhzhia

The attack on the post office occurred against the backdrop of an intensifying situation in the region. On Friday, July 3, Russian occupiers had already struck enterprises in Zaporizhzhia using guided aerial bombs. At that time, one person was killed, and later two civilian women walking down the street were injured.

In total, 21 people were injured in the attacks in Zaporizhzhia on that day, including children — a 12-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl.

The situation in the city remains tense, as it was in the preceding days. On July 2, reactive drones attacked the 'Yubileiny' meat processing plant, forcing the enterprise to suspend operations. Fortunately, there were no casualties then. Even earlier, on June 30, a massive strike by guided aerial bombs claimed the lives of at least two people and injured 15 civilians.

Attacks on civilian infrastructure, including post offices, demonstrate the growing threat to the population and workers ensuring the functioning of the city under wartime conditions.
