Pavlo Palisa, known by the callsign "Hunter," is a Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and has been the Deputy Head of the President's Office since November 29, 2024. His path to this position began after the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Palisa interrupted his studies in the USA, returned to his homeland, and headed the 5th Separate Assault Regiment.

In 2023–2024, he commanded the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade "Holodny Yar" and participated in fierce battles for Bakhmut. For his merits, Palisa was awarded the Cross of Combat Merit and the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky III degree. In February 2026, by decree of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, he was awarded the military rank of Brigadier General.
