# Trump on Lindsey Graham's Death: 'It's Not a Crime, It's Artery Problems'

A controversy has erupted in Washington over the sudden death of Senator Lindsey Graham. Rumors of a possible conspiracy and the criminal nature of the politician's death quickly spread through the media; however, the US administration has taken a course to refute these versions. President Donald Trump, during a press conference at the White House, gave an official assessment of the incident.

### Official Version: Health Problems

The US leader did not hide his opinion on the causes of the tragedy. According to Trump, preliminary data points to natural causes of death related to the senator's health condition. In particular, the president mentioned arterial blockage as a likely factor.

"First, I heard it was clogged arteries. Because he really did have clogged arteries. He had problems with that. It's a shame he didn't take better care of himself," Trump stated, noting that such conditions are extremely difficult to diagnose in advance.

The American leader emphasized that if such a pathology develops, medicine is often powerless to prevent a fatal outcome. This position puts an end to a number of speculations that began to appear immediately after the news of Graham's death on the evening of July 11.

### Criticism of Conspiracy Theories

Trump took a hard line regarding versions of the criminal nature of the senator's death. He stated directly that he sees nothing criminal in what happened. Moreover, the president criticized the work of law enforcement agencies, which, in his opinion, are wasting resources.

"I don't see anything criminal in this. I know there are all sorts of conspiracy theories, and I think the FBI is wasting its time if it deals with this," the head of the White House emphasized.

Trump's words sounded like an attempt to calm the public and stop the growth of conspiratorial sentiments. He insists that assumptions about a conspiracy have no factual basis.

### Last Visit to Kyiv

The death of Lindsey Graham became particularly resonant against the backdrop of his active political activity. Since the beginning of the full-scale war in Ukraine, he has remained one of the most influential supporters of Kyiv in the US Congress.

A few days before his death, the senator visited the Ukrainian capital. During the visit, he met with the country's leadership, where critically important issues were discussed: from increasing sanctions pressure on Russia to extending military aid. The parties also considered possible scenarios for ending the conflict.

Thus, the last days of Graham's life were filled with active diplomatic work, which makes his departure even more tragic for supporters of his course.
