# Trump Rejects Netanyahu: Israel Denied Text of Agreement with Iran

![Donald Trump at a meeting with Marco Rubio and other officials, discussing the refusal to provide Israel with the text of the agreement with Iran](https://xab.info/media/2026/06/17/tramp-otkazal-netanyahu-izrail-ne-poluchil-tekst-soglasheniya-s-iranom/tramp-otkazal-netanyahu-izrail-ne-poluchil-tekst-soglasheniya-s-iranom-1.webp)

On the eve of a historic event on the international stage, a diplomatic incident has erupted between two key allies. Israel officially requested the US administration to review the text of the peace agreement that Washington is preparing to sign with Iran. However, the request was denied, and Tel Aviv still lacks details of the document, which could radically alter the geopolitical situation in the Middle East.

### Reason for Rejection: Fear of Leak

According to a source cited by i24 News, the refusal of the Donald Trump administration to provide the text of the agreement is dictated by specific concerns. The White House fears that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu might disclose the details of the document before its official announcement. Such a scenario could derail the diplomatic process or distort the public's perception of the agreements.

However, in Washington, this information is being downplayed. A US official called the claims of a complete denial of access "inaccurate." According to him, coordination between the US and regional partners, including Israel, continued throughout all stages of the negotiations.

### "We Do Not Know What the Agreement Will Be"

Despite statements from the American side, doubts persist in Israel. During a press conference on Monday evening, Netanyahu barely commented on the details of the agreements between Washington and Tehran. However, answering direct questions from journalists, the Israeli Prime Minister acknowledged the existence of disagreements.

"We still do not know what the agreement will be," Netanyahu stated, adding that there is not always full mutual understanding between him and the US President on this issue.

### Essence of the Memorandum and Trump's Conditions

On June 14, Donald Trump announced an agreement reached with Iran. The discussion concerns a memorandum that obliges Tehran to unblock the Strait of Hormuz for the passage of all commercial vessels. In return, the US must lift the naval blockade of Iranian ports.

Although official details remain classified, the media has published information stating that the final draft covers a wide range of issues:

- Regulation of the Iranian nuclear program;

- Security guarantees for shipping in the Strait of Hormuz;

- US waiver of sanctions on Iranian oil.

The document is expected to be signed on Friday, June 19, in Geneva. Trump warned that he is ready to resume military action if Tehran refuses to fulfill conditions regarding its nuclear program.
