A decision has been made in the Tula Region to amend the operating procedures for Temporary Accommodation Points (TAPs). According to the new rules, as of September 1, 2026, citizens arriving from occupied territories of Ukraine must vacate these facilities.

This decision was announced by regional authorities. It is expected that eviction will become a mandatory requirement for all currently residing in TAPs. Officials emphasize that this measure is aimed at optimizing the use of social infrastructure and preparing facilities for the new season.

Currently, there is no information regarding what alternative housing options will be offered to the citizens being evicted. Official explanations do not mention compensation for lost housing or the allocation of new living spaces.

In the event that citizens do not voluntarily vacate the premises within the established timeframe, the administration plans to apply forced eviction measures. Specifically, special police units (OMON) may be deployed to ensure order and enforce the orders.

### Reaction and Consequences

Legislative changes in the region affect a significant number of people. The lack of a clear plan for further accommodation raises questions among the public. The situation requires TAP residents to urgently seek new housing solutions under conditions of limited resources.
