# Turbojet 'Bravo': How Ukrainian Startup Triada Robotics is Changing the Rules of the Sky

In the context of modern warfare, where control over airspace becomes a decisive factor, the Ukrainian defense industry is betting on a technological breakthrough. Simple quadcopters are being replaced by high-tech complexes capable of striking targets at significant distances. A vivid example of this evolution is the development by Triada Robotics — the heavy long-range unmanned aerial vehicle Bravo.

### Turbojet Strike: Speed as the Main Weapon

The flagship product of the Ukrainian technology bureau is the Bravo drone. Its key feature is the integration of a turbojet power plant. This allows the aircraft to achieve a cruising speed in the range of 650–700 km/h. At such speeds, intercepting the target with air defense (AD) systems becomes a task of increased complexity, which significantly increases the probability of a successful mission.

The Bravo design was developed using technologies to reduce radar visibility (stealth). This means that enemy radars will see the drone as a low-observable point, making its detection difficult as it approaches the target. The launch of the aircraft can be carried out from ground vehicles or naval vessels, ensuring high flexibility in tactical planning.

### Intelligent Navigation and Autonomy

In conditions of active electronic warfare (EW) systems, satellite navigation often becomes unavailable. Engineers at Triada Robotics solved this problem by implementing a Self-Improving (SI) model in Bravo. The system plots optimal routes by analyzing and taking into account the experience of previous aircraft, allowing the drone to adapt to changing circumstances.

Alongside 'Bravo', the company is developing a second model — the long-range UAV Kilo. This aircraft is equipped with an internal combustion engine and has a flight range of more than 500 km. The key feature of Kilo is the ability to function in conditions of complete absence of satellite navigation signals (GNSS). The drone uses an integrated system for automatic target acquisition and tracking, making it effective even in 'dead zones'.

### Modular Approach: Selling Technologies

Triada Robotics positions itself not just as a drone manufacturing plant, but as a technology bureau. The company creates universal components that are offered to the market as standalone products for integration into any platforms:

- **Topaz:** A compact software and hardware module for ground, air, or sea platforms. It provides control, real-time monitoring, and intelligent routing.

- **Argon:** A mission control center allowing the coordination of entire swarms of unmanned vehicles. The system supports three modes of operation: manual, automatic, and autonomous swarm.

- **Onyx:** A universal sensor block for reading data from fuel, temperature, pressure, navigation sensors, and optical cameras.

### Scaling Plans and International Cooperation

The Triada Robotics team intends to manufacture the first pre-series batch of 100 units of both types of drones by the end of the year. However, the startup's ambitions go far beyond local production. The company's strategic goal is to attract foreign investment to scale production capacities directly in Ukraine.

Developers are striving to create joint ventures with world leaders in the defense sector, such as Lockheed Martin or Northrop Grumman. The main goal of such a partnership is to confirm the combat effectiveness of the systems in practice and enter the global arms market. Furthermore, Triada Robotics expects approval of grant support from the state cluster Brave1, which should accelerate the introduction of technologies into serial production.
