## 🎯 Key Points

- Ukraine used the FP-7 ballistic missile in combat conditions for the first time
- The weaponry is developed by the domestic company Fire Point
- President Volodymyr Zelenskyy published a video of the successful missile launch
- Experts estimate the FP-7 strike range to be up to 300-400 km

Ukrainian defense forces have used the cutting-edge domestically produced FP-7 tactical ballistic missile in combat conditions for the first time. Official confirmation of this historic event appeared on the social media pages of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, where the head of state also shared footage of the combat launch.

### Background and Specifications of the FP-7 Missile

The ballistic weaponry was developed by the Ukrainian defense company Fire Point. Previously, experts and developers repeatedly highlighted the high technical characteristics of the complex, comparing its range and capabilities to Western counterparts such as US ATACMS missiles. According to representatives of the manufacturing company, the strike range of the FP-7 can reach between 300 and 400 kilometers, making it a powerful strategic deterrence tool.

### Combat Deployment and Leadership Reaction

Commenting on the debut launch, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy concisely thanked the developers and the military for the achieved result: “Ukrainian tactical ballistics. FP-7. First combat use. Thank you for the result.” At present, detailed information regarding exact target coordinates, types of destroyed assets, and the scale of damage remains classified for security reasons.

### Efficiency Assessment Against Air Defense Systems

Earlier, Fire Point representatives emphasized that intercepting ballistic missiles like the FP-7 with the enemy's existing air defense systems is an extremely difficult, virtually impossible task due to their high flight speed and ballistic trajectory. Successful combat deployment confirms the stated characteristics and opens a new stage in the development of Ukraine's missile arsenal.
