The Ukrainian women's tennis team has officially confirmed its roster for the Billie Jean King Cup Finals 2026. The tournament, which will be the main event in the team tennis calendar, will take place from September 22 to 27 in the Chinese city of Shenzhen.

### Roster changes and leadership of top players

Compared to the April qualifying matches against the Polish team, where the Ukrainian tennis players secured a confident victory, there was only one rotation in the lineup. Dayana Yastremska replaced Nadia Kichenok. The main leaders of the national team will again be the tennis players in the world's top 15 — Elina Svitolina and Marta Kostiuk. The team's tactics in the decisive matches will be built around their performance.

### Opponent and quarter-final schedule

The Ukrainian team, which received the high third seed, will meet the Belgian team in the quarter-finals. The opponents have fielded a lineup that combines young talents and experienced players. Anne Vandewinkel (91st in the world) and Jelinek Vandromme (128th in the world) will lead the Belgian team. They will be supported by Greet Minnen (182nd in the world) and Magali Kempen, a doubles specialist who ranks 50th in the corresponding WTA ranking.

The quarter-final match between Ukraine and Belgium is scheduled for September 24. The match will start at 5:00 AM Kyiv time. The matches will be played in a shortened format to two wins: two singles matches and one doubles match will be played.

The tournament will open on September 22 with a match between Czechia and Great Britain. In other quarter-final pairs, the reigning champions from Italy will play against the hosts — China, while the Kazakh team will meet Spain.
