# Strike on logistics: Ukrainian drones attack giant Wildberries hub in Vladimir region

A powerful strike has occurred in the Vladimir region against one of the key nodes of Russian logistics. Ukrainian FP-1 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) attacked a massive distribution center of the Wildberries marketplace. The incident was confirmed by both company representatives and regional authorities, who reported a fire and the evacuation of personnel.

### Scale of the facility and consequences of the strike

The targeted facility is one of the largest logistics complexes of Wildberries in Central Russia. According to the report, after its full commissioning, the warehouse area was approximately 175,000 square meters. The design capacity of the hub exceeded 120 million units of goods, making it a critically important element of the supply chain of one of the leaders of the Russian e-commerce market.

The Governor of the Vladimir region, Alexander Avdeev, confirmed the fact of the attack. According to him, the strike caused damage and a fire on the site. All people were promptly evacuated. Official confirmation also came from the Fire Point company, which stated that the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the hub with FP-1 drones.

### Economic pressure and disruption of supply chains

Attacks on infrastructure of this level create significant economic pressure. The destruction of major logistics centers disrupts supply chains, forcing companies to reroute and increasing the costs of infrastructure restoration. These strikes hit the operational activities of the retail giant, demonstrating the vulnerability of even the most protected industrial facilities.

### Context of the series of attacks

This incident is part of a continuing series of strikes on Russian territory. On the night of July 31, FP-1 drones had already struck several regions: an oil refinery in Volgograd and another Wildberries logistics center were hit, and explosions were also recorded in Tatarstan and Dagestan.

Particular attention is drawn to the attack that took place in the morning of August 3. Then, drones struck the Belgorod State Technological University. At this university, they were developing drone control systems based on Russian microprocessors, as well as training drone operators under a state program. These events highlight the expansion of the geography and diversity of the targets of the strikes.
