The contours of Ukraine's future economy are already taking shape. According to Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, post-war reconstruction will be most dynamic in the sectors where the country demonstrated the greatest resilience and strength during the full-scale invasion.

These points were made at the "Education of the New Ukraine 2.0" conference. The head of government presented a modeled development strategy based on the unique experience gained during the war.

### Sectors that will become growth drivers

Svyrydenko identified a clear list of industries capable of ensuring economic sovereignty and export potential in the future. The list of leaders includes:

    - Energy;

    - Machinery manufacturing;

    - IT industry;

    - Defense tech (military technologies).

"These are the sectors where we showed strength during the full-scale invasion, where we gained unique experience, and what we can export and develop," the Prime Minister emphasized.

### Market unpredictability and the defense sector example

Despite having a strategy, the head of government warned that it is practically impossible to predict all relevant professions of the future in advance. She urged students and young people to listen to their talents and seek inner harmony rather than simply chasing trends.

As a vivid example of market unpredictability, Svyrydenko cited the defense sector. Just a few years ago, few could have imagined that within five years, this field would make a colossal leap, expanding to 900 companies.

### Labor shortage and high salaries

The current labor market in Ukraine is already demonstrating high rates. Employers are ready to offer individual specialists salaries of up to 170,000 hryvnias per month. High levels of remuneration are now characteristic not only of the IT sector and top management but also of representatives of technical and blue-collar professions.

However, after the end of the war, an acute shortage of personnel is forecast in the construction industry. This will be caused by the massive need to restore destroyed infrastructure across the country, which will require the involvement of a huge number of specialists.
