# Ukroboronprom fires enterprise heads for violating ammunition storage rules

The state concern "Ukrainian Defense Industry" (Ukroboronprom) has announced personnel purges following the discovery of safety violations. The heads of two defense sector enterprises have been dismissed for failing to comply with ammunition storage regulations. Additionally, other officials whose actions could have led to severe consequences have been relieved of their duties.

### Inevitability of Accountability

According to RBC-Ukraine, citing the concern's official Telegram channel, the dismissals are the result of a preliminary investigation. The company emphasized that it strictly adheres to the principle of inevitable accountability. The personnel decisions were prompted by violations of legislation and regulations regarding the safe storage of munitions.

However, dismissal is only the first punitive measure. Ukroboronprom stated that all individuals held responsible will face criminal prosecution in accordance with current Ukrainian legislation.

### Full Cooperation with the Investigation

The state concern confirmed that it is fully cooperating with the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and other pre-trial investigation bodies. All necessary documents for the inspection have already been submitted to the relevant authorities.

### Mass Inspections and Condolences

In connection with the emergency incident, internal inspections have begun at all enterprises within the concern. A comprehensive check is currently underway to ensure compliance with requirements for the storage and safety of handling munitions.

The concern's leadership expressed condolences to the victims and the families of the deceased. The statement emphasizes that the company's primary duty is to do everything possible to ensure such tragedies never happen again.
