# Weather in Ukraine on June 1: Where to Expect Thunderstorms and Fog, and Where It Will Be Warm Without Precipitation

On June 1, Ukraine is expected to experience changeable weather: sunny warmth in some regions, while others will see rain, fog, and even thunderstorms. Meteorologists recommend being cautious when planning trips and outdoor events.

### Rain and Thunderstorms in the East and West

According to the forecast from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, short-term rain is expected in the eastern and western regions, as well as in the Vinnytsia and Odesa oblasts. During the day, thunderstorms are possible in the eastern regions — this is due to the passage of an atmospheric front, which last week brought stormy winds, heavy rain, and hail to several regions of Ukraine.

### Fog in the Morning, Warmth During the Day

In the morning, fog will be observed in some areas of the eastern regions, most northern regions, and in the Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, and Odesa oblasts. However, by midday, the situation will stabilize: air temperatures will rise to +15…+20°C, allowing most regions to enjoy a summer day.

### Kyiv and the Region: No Precipitation, but with Fog

In Kyiv and the Kyiv region today, there will be variable cloudiness, and no precipitation is expected. In the morning, fog may occur in some areas; the wind will blow from the southeast at 5–10 m/s. In the evening, the weather is expected to be comfortable for walks and outdoor work.

### Wind and Temperature Across the Country

On the Right Bank, the wind will be from the southeast; elsewhere, it will be from the north, with speeds of 5–10 m/s. Daytime temperatures will average +15…+20°C, which corresponds to the climatic norms for early June.
