Famous Ukrainian TV host Solomiya Vitvitska and her partner, soldier Oleksiy Sitylo, have officially become husband and wife. The ceremony took place on June 20, and the couple decided not to postpone the celebration despite the difficult situation in the country. The main catalyst for their decision was the host's pregnancy.

### From Uncertainty to Determination

Their relationship began back in 2024. Oleksiy officially proposed to Vitvitska on February 14, 2025, during a vacation in Bukovel. However, despite the engagement, the couple postponed the wedding date for a long time. Vitvitska admitted that amidst the war, instability, and tragic events, it was difficult to decide on the format of the celebration.

"Everyone kept asking: when is the wedding? But we just couldn't decide what kind of wedding to have, or if we should have one at all," the host shared in an interview. The final turning point came with the news of the pregnancy. Oleksiy Sitylo, who headed a district court in the Sumy region before the full-scale invasion and now serves in the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), took a firm stance: children should be born within a legal marriage. "There is no time to delay," he declared.

### Improvised Wedding in Zakarpattia

The couple opted out of a grand feast with relatives. Instead, Oleksiy made a decisive choice: travel to Zakarpattia, combine the trip with the bride's birthday, and get married there. The event turned into a complete improvisation. They found a photographer by chance along the way, and a friend helped create the bride's look.

The celebration was held in an extremely intimate format. Only close friends, with whom the newlyweds were staying, and Oleksiy's godfather with his family were present at the wedding. "In fact, we should have been six, but there were ten," Solomiya clarified.

### Feelings and Future Plans

Vitvitska was completely delighted with the intimate atmosphere of the ceremony. She emphasized that she felt beautiful and loved, and the warm emotions from such a format outweighed any doubts. "It is truly a wonderful memory," the TV host summarized.

As for her professional activities, Solomiya does not plan to take a full maternity leave, although she allows for a certain pause after the birth of their first child. At the moment, the couple already knows they will have a boy, but they have not yet chosen a name for the baby.
