Traditionally, social infrastructure facilities in the capital are connected to heat on an individual basis. Medical institutions, kindergartens, and schools can start the heating season earlier than residential buildings. It is worth noting that in the new autumn-winter season, tariffs for thermal energy and hot water for the population of Kyiv will remain unchanged. For household consumers, the cost of one gigacalorie of heat is fixed at 1,654.41 hryvnias, and a cubic meter of hot water is 97.89 hryvnias. In addition, the Cabinet of Ministers extended the mechanism of special obligations (PSO) on the natural gas market until March 31, 2027.
