# Yellow danger level: how gusty winds and a magnetic storm will change the weather in Ukraine tomorrow

The weather in Ukraine is preparing surprises: after the early arrival of meteorological summer, the country will be hit by severe weather. Meteorologists have already raised the alarm, warning of gusty wind that will affect most regions.

### Gusts and rain: what May 26 has in store

According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, during the daytime hours of May 26, wind gusts will reach 15–20 meters per second. This corresponds to the yellow danger level — the first signal that one needs to be on guard. The wind may damage dilapidated structures, tear down billboards, and create difficulties for drivers.

Residents of the north-east and east of the country require special attention. In the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, and partially in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, precipitation will be added to the wind. Rainy weather is expected, which may complicate the road situation. Over the rest of Ukraine, the sky will be overcast, with occasional brief clearings possible.

### Magnetic storm: a double blow for weather-sensitive people

Weather cataclysms will not end in one day. Already on May 27, meteorologists forecast a peak geomagnetic day. A moderate magnetic storm is expected, which, combined with atmospheric pressure fluctuations, may seriously affect well-being.

Weather-sensitive people, as well as those suffering from cardiovascular diseases, should prepare in advance: avoid stress, do not overexert themselves, and monitor their condition. The contrast between the early warm start of spring and the sudden deterioration of weather is a vivid example of how unpredictable nature can be this season.
