# Zelenskyy announces Russia is preparing a new wave of mobilization this autumn

Ukrainian intelligence has data indicating that the Russian leadership is preparing a new large-scale wave of mobilization already in the current autumn season. This was reported by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in his Telegram channel, citing information received from the security services.

### Kremlin plans and frontline losses

According to the head of the Ukrainian state, the information regarding Moscow's plans is clear and unambiguous: the Kremlin intends to conduct additional recruitment of military personnel in the coming months. Zelenskyy noted that at the moment, the Russian army is suffering losses on the front that exceed the rate of their replenishment through new conscripts.

Despite this imbalance, Vladimir Putin does not plan to reduce the intensity of hostilities. On the contrary, the Ukrainian leader emphasized that the Russian leadership is counting on expanding the scale of the war and increasing the number of attacks.

"Right now, Russians are losing more of their military on the front than they are recruiting, and Putin still intends to increase attacks and expand this war. He needs more Russians to participate in the assaults," Zelenskyy stated.

### Strategy of preventive defense

In response to the threat of new mobilization, Ukraine intends to act in advance. The President emphasized the need to use all available tools to thwart the Kremlin's plans. This refers not only to strengthening defense directly on the front line but also to comprehensive pressure on the enemy.

Zelenskyy listed the key areas of counteraction:

- Application of long-range sanctions;

- Strikes on enemy military objects (mid-strikes);

- Active diplomatic work;

- Engagement of international support.

"We must defend ourselves preventively against this at all levels: on the front, with the help of our long-range sanctions, mid-strikes, our diplomacy and, of course, in communication with everyone who is able to support life and bring peace closer," the President noted.

### Background of missile threat

The statement regarding the preparation of mobilization was made against the backdrop of an escalation in the military situation. Earlier, Volodymyr Zelenskyy warned that Russia had already prepared missiles for new strikes on Ukrainian territory. According to the Ukrainian side, another massive attack could take place within the next 48 hours. This indicates that the Russian leadership continues to increase pressure despite its own losses.
