A closed-door meeting took place at the Office of the President of Ukraine between Volodymyr Zelenskyy and deputies of the "Servant of the People" faction. The main topic of discussion was a massive reshuffle of the Cabinet of Ministers. The meeting lasted about an hour and gathered around 200 people's deputies. Among those present were candidates for new posts, however, former Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko did not appear at the session.

### Reason for the Minister of Defense's Resignation

The rotation in the post of Minister of Defense attracted the most attention from the meeting participants. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy personally voiced the main reason for the replacement of Mykhailo Fedorov. According to the head of state, the key factor was the conflict between Fedorov and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrsky. Despite leaving the post, Zelenskyy assured that Fedorov would remain "close by" and continue working within the team, although the details of his new role are not yet disclosed.

Ruslan Klymenko is expected to be appointed as the new Minister of Defense. The President expressed hope that he would be able to effectively resolve current systemic problems with Territorial Recruitment and Mobilization Centers (TRMC) and the mobilization process.

### Personnel Changes and New Appointments

During the meeting, other significant personnel decisions were announced that will change the structure of the government:

- **Alexey Sobolev**, who previously held the post of Minister of Economy, will remain in the team, moving to the President's Office. Most likely, he will take the vacant position of Deputy Head of the President's Office for Economic Affairs.

- **Yulia Sviridenko** will also keep her place in the team, however, specifics regarding her future position have not yet been named.

- **Taras Kachka** will become the Ambassador of Ukraine to the European Union. He will replace Vsevolod Chenets in this post, who, in turn, will be appointed Vice Prime Minister. Essentially, this is a classic personnel swap.

- **Vitaliy Bezgin and Denis Maslov** received a promotion, moving from parliament to the government. Special attention was paid to Bezgin's appointment, who will head a separate Ministry of Regional Policy — a key post for majoritarian deputies.

### Deputies' Reaction and Voting

The emotions of the meeting participants were mixed. According to an RBC-Ukraine source among the deputies, some parliamentarians were upset by the decision to dismiss Mykhailo Fedorov. At the same time, many deputies welcomed the career growth of their colleagues, especially the creation of a new ministry for Bezgin.

Voting for the new composition of the government is expected to take place as early as tomorrow. Deputies expect to complete the entire process by 15:00–16:00. According to plans, the candidacy of Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky will first be approved, and then a package vote will be held for all ministers. Exceptions will be the candidates for the posts of Minister of Defense and Minister of Foreign Affairs, who are submitted by the President and will be considered last.

To guarantee the passage of the candidacy of the new Minister of Defense, sources report that the faction plans to "hedge" with outside votes from other parliamentary groups.
