During the meeting, the head of state emphasized the need for neighborly, equal, and mutually beneficial relations based on respect. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine citing Zelensky's statement on Telegram. ### Gratitude for Support Zelensky noted that Poland provided tangible support to Ukraine after the start of the full-scale Russian invasion. "We are grateful for this," the president said. He also emphasized that defending Ukraine's independence directly contributes to strengthening Poland's independence. ### Cooperation as the Key to Security According to Zelensky, the security challenges facing Europe today can only be resolved through the cooperation of free nations in the region. "This is especially relevant for our countries," he added. ### Concrete Steps Following the meeting, several key decisions will be made: - Alexander (presumably a member of the president's team) will prepare and present systematic proposals for developing relations with Poland. - Relevant government members and the relevant committee of the Verkhovna Rada will consider the possibility of increasing financial and other support for the UIPA (Information Policy and Counteraction Department). ### Technology and Defense Recall that on July 17, Zelensky met with former advisor to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Sergey "Flash" Beskrestnov, a specialist in military technology.
