# Zelenskyy's New Command: Ukraine Creates Structure for 'Global Influence' on Russia

A major change has occurred within the structure of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed a decree establishing a new special command. The new structure is named the 'Long-Range Influence Command' and is aimed at conducting combat operations against Russian infrastructure.

### Strategy of 'Global Influence'

According to RBC-Ukraine, citing a statement by the head of state, the new military structure is intended to concentrate all available resources to maximize the reduction of Russia's military potential. Zelenskyy himself characterized the task of the new command as creating 'a virtually global influence on Russia during this war'.

The President emphasized that the head of the new direction will be a 'strong and highly experienced' commander. This indicates that Kyiv views long-range operations as a priority area requiring centralized management and high qualifications.

### Results of Strikes on the Russian Economy

The decision to create a specialized command was announced against the backdrop of reports of massive damage to Russia's fuel and energy sector. According to Zelenskyy, at present, there is not a single oil refinery in Russia that has not been subjected to strikes by Ukrainian long-range systems.

Experts estimate the aggressor country's losses from drone attacks to be in the range of 20% to 40% of oil refining capacity. This has led to a serious fuel crisis, the consequences of which, according to sources, have already been felt by about 50 million citizens of the Russian Federation.

### Strikes on the Fleet and Logistics

The activity of Ukrainian defense forces has increased significantly in recent weeks. On the night of July 9, strikes were launched against critically important objects: ships, oil terminals, and ammunition depots. In particular, 12 ships of the Russian fleet were hit in the waters of the Sea of Azov. These actions demonstrate Kyiv's ability to deliver pinpoint strikes on the enemy's logistical nodes at a significant distance from the front line.
