# Zelenskyy on Putin: 'Only One Advantage Left — Ballistics'

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in comments to journalists, outlined the current situation on the front lines and in the security sphere. According to him, Russia, which he referred to as a "dictatorship," has only one real advantage left — ballistic missiles.

### A Window of Opportunity for Ukraine

The head of state emphasized that Kyiv is currently in a unique situation, which he defined as a "window of opportunity." Zelenskyy noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have become significantly stronger both in ground combat and in the air. In his view, the results of these changes are obvious to all observers.

"Ukraine has become stronger on the battlefield and in the air. And everyone sees the corresponding results. Of course, first and foremost thanks to our military, I am very grateful to them for this. They give me the opportunity to strengthen my positions, which is why I said there is a window of opportunity," the president stated.

### Assessment of the Situation by the Russian Leadership

Zelenskyy expressed confidence that the Russian leadership fully realizes the current balance of power. According to him, Moscow understands that the Russian army no longer has any other advantages besides missile strikes.

"There is ballistics, there are indeed absolutely tragic and terrible strikes against the civilian population of our state, but this is the only advantage he has left. There is nothing else. Everyone sees it," the Ukrainian leader emphasized.

### International Support and Air Defense Shortage

During communications with leaders of other countries, including US President Donald Trump, Zelenskyy received confirmation that the international community sees Ukraine's strengthening. However, against the backdrop of successes on the front, there remains an acute problem with air defense.

Ukraine is facing a critical shortage of ammunition for key air defense systems — Patriot, NASAMS, and IRIS-T. The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that in some units, missile stocks are practically exhausted. To solve this problem, Kyiv has turned to 40 countries with a request to transfer missiles for Patriot systems in exchange for future deliveries under existing contracts.

At the same time, Donald Trump reported that Washington will provide Ukraine with the right to produce Patriot surface-to-air missile systems, which could be an important step in the long term for ensuring the country's security.
