The President emphasized that people may still be trapped under the rubble of a multi-story building in Sumy and called on the international community to increase pressure on Moscow to stop the terror. ### Tragedy in Sumy: casualties and rescuers According to the head of state, Russian forces used guided air bombs on the central part of Sumy, where civilians live. So far, four deaths have been confirmed, including a child. Another 27 citizens were injured, six of whom are children. Many of the injured are in critical condition. Rescue operations in the city are ongoing. Zelenskyy noted that people may be trapped under the debris of the destroyed multi-story building, and their search is a priority. ### Attacks in other regions During the day, Russian forces struck several regions of Ukraine. In Zaporizhzhia, two people were killed as a result of a drone attack, and six others were injured, including a child. Kharkiv was shelled by an FPV drone, resulting in casualties. Settlements in the Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Donetsk regions were also hit. Earlier in the evening on July 3, Sumy had already been subjected to a mass attack using strike drones and air bombs. ### Call to strengthen international pressure Zelenskyy stated that to stop such attacks, international pressure on Russia must be intensified. According to him, Moscow will hear signals from the United States, the G7, the G20, and Europe. The President pointed out that Western partners have tools of influence: restrictions in the energy sector, sanctions against Russia's oil fleet and financial system. He also emphasized the importance of strengthening Ukraine's air defense. "It is necessary to use these opportunities and take steps to strengthen our defense, primarily air defense. I thank all the leaders who are actively working and not losing a single day," Zelenskyy wrote.
