Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg is confident that personal AI agents will become as essential for most people as smartphones within the next five years. According to him, these systems will go beyond simple chatbots and begin performing user tasks autonomously.

### WhatsApp as the AI Control Center

Zuckerberg has identified WhatsApp as the key platform for interacting with artificial intelligence. The messenger is already the primary environment for Meta AI. The company is actively developing not only personal but also business agents designed to automate customer support and sales. Currently, over a million businesses have already implemented these solutions in WhatsApp and Messenger.

### Monetizing Compute Power

An important element of Meta's strategy will be selling access to its computing power (compute). The company is considering providing access to servers with high margins, although it plans to maintain a balance by reserving some resources for training its own promising models.

According to the CEO's forecasts, it is autonomous agents, smart glasses, and new recommendation algorithms that will form the basis for the next wave of the company's products and revenue.

### Financial Consequences of Ambitious Plans

Large-scale infrastructure investments have already affected Meta's financial indicators. The company's free cash flow for the last quarter decreased by 91% compared to the same period last year — to $784 million against $8.55 billion a year ago.

The Reality Labs division, which develops VR/AR headsets and smart glasses, recorded losses of $4.6 billion. Since 2021, the total damage from this direction has reached $88 billion. Following the publication of the report, Meta's shares fell by almost 10%.

### New Infrastructure Investments

Despite volatility in the stock market, the company continues to expand its capacity. Together with BlackRock, Meta announced the construction of a new data center worth $14 billion, confirming the company's serious intentions to dominate the artificial intelligence sector.
