XAB.info is an independent online news outlet. Since May 2026 we have been publishing in Russian, Ukrainian, English and German. The goal is simple: get to the point of a story fast and be honest about what it rests on.
What makes us different
Sources in plain sight
Every story links to the original source and to the outlets we checked it against. Any reader can verify our work.
When accounts differ, we say so
When the parties give different numbers and different versions, we don’t pick the convenient one. We show who claims what, with links, and let you decide.
Four languages at once
Each story is published in four languages at the same time, so events in Ukraine and around the world are understood on both sides of the border.
No clickbait
The headline says what happened. No “shocking”, no “you won’t believe”, no promises the story doesn’t keep.
How we work
- Section editors choose the topics, set the standards for each story and are responsible for the quality of their beat.
- Technology helps the newsroom monitor news feeds, prepare texts, cross-check sources and translate stories.
- Disputed stories, where sources conflict or the facts are in doubt, are never published automatically: the editor-in-chief reviews them first.
- We correct mistakes. Spotted an error? Write to [email protected] and the correction goes into the story.
