Rivne became the site of an unusual incident that required the intervention of professional rescuers. In the early morning hours, a 15-year-old girl found herself locked inside one of the city's parcel lockers. The incident, which could have ended in tragedy, was successfully averted thanks to the rapid response of the staff of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Rivne Oblast.
An unusual call at 6 a.m.
The signal about the incident was received by the Rescue Service at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, July 7. According to a witness, a minor was found locked in one of the lockers on Kyivska Street. The young man who discovered the situation immediately contacted emergency services to report the strange case.
Rescuers from the 3rd State Fire and Rescue Unit promptly arrived at the scene. The rescuers quickly assessed the situation and began to free the girl from the metal structure. Thanks to their professionalism and rapid response, the incident was resolved without any negative consequences for the health of the victim.
