The situation on the front line remains extremely tense. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has published an operational briefing recording unprecedented enemy activity over the past 24 hours. As of 8:00 AM on Sunday, the Ukrainian side recorded 223 combat clashes in various defense sectors.
Scale of the air threat
Special attention in the report is paid to the actions of the Russian aviation. In one day, the enemy carried out 93 air strikes. During these attacks, 269 guided air bombs were dropped, indicating high intensity of air support for ground operations and attempts to suppress defensive lines.
Drone warfare and artillery
A significant part of the attacks consisted of strikes using unmanned aerial vehicles. The General Staff reports that the aggressor used 9,928 kamikaze drones. The massive use of UAVs allows the enemy to constantly keep Ukrainian troops under fire, delivering pinpoint strikes on equipment and personnel.
In addition, 3,204 shelling incidents of settlements and Armed Forces of Ukraine positions were recorded. Of this number, 45 attacks were carried out using multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), which creates a serious threat to infrastructure and civilians in frontline areas.
