In Kyiv, temporary traffic restrictions have been introduced due to the aftermath of a night attack. Several streets in the capital are blocked, significantly affecting logistics and the movement of residents.
Information about the road closures was confirmed by Alexey Beloshitsky, the First Deputy Head of the Patrol Police Department. According to him, traffic has been temporarily halted on a number of sections, including streets adjacent to the sites of munition impacts and destruction.
Changes in Public Transport Operations
Due to the blockage of several routes, city authorities have adjusted public transport movements. In particular, the route of bus No. 78 along Mykhailo Maksymovych Street has been changed. It now follows a detour towards the "TRED No. 1" Shopping and Entertainment Center.
The Patrol Police strongly recommends that residents and guests of the capital take these changes into account when planning their trips to avoid delays and reach safe zones.
Consequences of the Night Attack
The night raid on Kyiv has led to severe consequences. According to the latest data, at least 11 people have died, and more than 45 have been injured. Rescue services are continuing search operations — people who may have been trapped after the collapse of structures are being sought under the rubble.
Particular attention is being paid to areas where signs of detonation of unexploded munitions are observed. In particular, residents of the Vyzhneve community in the Kyiv region have been urged not to go outside and to remain in shelters until the territory is fully checked.
The Situation Remains Tense
Emergency teams, military personnel, and law enforcement representatives are working at the scene. The streets affected by the shelling are cordoned off, and civilian access is restricted. Work on restoring infrastructure and eliminating the consequences continues around the clock.
