On the night of October 10, 2026, the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out a large-scale series of strikes against strategic facilities of the Russian army involved in combat coordination and support. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the targets included command structures, logistical hubs, equipment repair bases, and enemy electronic warfare (EW) systems. The operation spanned several frontline regions and deep rear areas inside the Russian Federation.

Geography and Key Objectives of the Night Operation

Among the targeted facilities, the General Staff highlighted command posts of Russian units that coordinated troop actions near Pobiedne in Zaporizhzhia Oblast and Dokuchaievsk in Donetsk Oblast. Simultaneously, precision strikes disabled an electronic warfare (EW) station located near the settlement of Trukhanovo in Russia's Bryansk Oblast, indicating an expansion of military strikes inside Russian territory. In Kherson Oblast, near the settlement of Khorly, Ukrainian forces attacked a training center used to prepare sergeants for the Russian army.

Strikes on Rear Infrastructure and Logistics

Significant damage was inflicted on the logistical and material support of the occupation forces. Specifically, in the area of Sukhodilsk, Luhansk Oblast, a strike hit a repair and restoration base engaged in returning damaged armored vehicles to service. Near Chystiakove in Donetsk Oblast, a large fuel and lubricants depot was destroyed. Two additional logistics supply depots were attacked near Semeine (Donetsk Oblast) and Borovenky (Luhansk Oblast), with the latter facility also storing specialized engineering equipment.

Attack on Oil Facilities in Samara Oblast and Rostov

The escalation of nighttime strikes also targeted strategic energy and industrial facilities in the Russian rear. On the night of October 10, 2026, Ukrainian forces repeatedly struck the Samara linear production and dispatch station in Samara Oblast. Concurrently, a powerful drone attack was recorded in Rostov-на-Don, where a large-scale fire broke out following a series of explosions. According to preliminary analytical data, the target may have been the oil loading terminal of the Novoshakhtinsk Oil Products Plant, which will significantly impact fuel supply logistics.
