The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has published a briefing on the results of combat operations for July 10 and the night of July 11. According to the report, Ukrainian units carried out a series of strikes on key enemy military objects aimed at reducing the offensive potential of the Russian army.
Devastation at the 'Kalmiuskoye' training ground
One of the central events was a strike on the 'Kalmiuskoye' general military training ground, located in the Dokuchaievsk district of the Donetsk region. The training ground is a key facility for training enemy personnel and equipment. The General Staff clarified that the extent of the damage and specific results of the strike are currently being verified.
Strikes on command infrastructure and troop concentrations
In addition to the training ground, the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) control points. Targets were hit in the Krysyanovo area of the Belgorod region in Russia and in the Pervomaiske area of the Zaporizhzhia region. This action is aimed at depriving the enemy of the ability to effectively control drones in border zones.
Areas of enemy troop concentration were also attacked. Strikes hit Horlivka in the Donetsk region and the settlement of Karizh in the Kursk region of Russia.
Operation in the Sea of Azov
The General Staff also provided updated data on a large-scale operation conducted at night in the Sea of Azov. The goal of the operation was to reduce the military-economic potential of the aggressor state and disrupt logistics chains used to bypass sanctions.
As a result of strikes on the enemy fleet, the following were hit:
- 21 Russian tankers;
- 4 tugboats;
- 2 cargo ships;
- 1 dredger.
These vessels were used by Russia for military logistics. The destruction of such a large amount of equipment deals a significant blow to the enemy's ability to transport cargo and resources by sea.
