Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has outlined key priorities for the coming weeks. The main focus is on strengthening air defense, implementing drone initiatives, and supporting energy infrastructure. The head of state announced this in his Telegram channel.

Diplomatic Front: Constant Contact with Allies

According to Zelenskyy, the Ukrainian side maintains daily contact with representatives of the US administration and European partners. Special attention is paid to the delivery of air defense systems and the fulfillment of already reached agreements. "We are preparing for important negotiations — for now without public details," the president added, emphasizing that dialogue with the international community continues in an active mode.

Three Main Areas of Work

Among the priorities for the coming weeks, Zelenskyy highlighted:

  • strengthening anti-ballistic defense;
  • preparing bilateral documents on the production and supply of drones;
  • implementing the Drone Deal initiative with the European Union.

Humanitarian Track and New Solutions

Separately, the president touched upon the topic of humanitarian exchanges. He emphasized the need to continue working on already agreed mechanisms and to intensify interaction with partners capable of facilitating this process.

In addition, Zelenskyy announced new solutions in the energy sector. "There will be new solutions in support of Ukraine, in particular our energy sector. We are finalizing the details," he noted.

NATO Summit: Disputes over Funding

On the eve of the NATO summit in Ankara, discussions among allies continue regarding the future format of aid to Ukraine. One of the most discussed proposals was that of Alliance Secretary-General Mark Rutte, calling for member states to allocate at least 0.25% of GDP to support Kyiv. However, a number of countries — the UK, France, Spain, Italy, and Canada — opposed the rigid fixation of such obligations, insisting on a more flexible approach to financing.
