The results of the sixth annual 'Zolotiy Lifon-2026' competition have been announced in Ukraine — a public rating that annually identifies the most charismatic and attractive cultural figures in the country. For the first time in the award's history, the first place was taken by musician, journalist, and member of the band 'Hamerman Znischuie Virusy' Albert Tsyukrenko.
Unusual Format and Purpose of the Award
The 'Zolotiy Lifon' award was founded in 2018 as a humorous yet socially significant initiative. Its creators — Anna Arinarkhova (founder) and Elena Pavlova (producer) — aimed to draw attention to Ukrainian artists through a non-standard format, simultaneously parodying traditional beauty contests where women are often objectified.
"We wanted to become a kind of yellow press for a healthy country and write about culture and the real stars of our hearts — Ukrainian artists — and draw attention to them. By any means," explained the project team.
Who Participates and How Winners Are Chosen
The rating includes representatives from various fields: writers, musicians, actors, artists, directors, photographers, cultural managers, charity auction organizers, and other creative personalities. Selection criteria include talent, charisma, intelligence, and physical attractiveness.
Winners are determined based on voting results: participants compile their personal top-10 lists, after which organizers sum up the points to form the final rating.
