Emergency rescue operations at the scene have been completed: according to official data, the fire covering more than 10,000 square meters has been extinguished, and the shopping halls in the residential district of the city have turned into a wasteland.

At 22:47 on Thursday, he posted on Telegram that "the enemy struck one of the shopping centers in Zaporizhzhia," and soon attached a photo from the scene. At 23:03, the acting head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military (State) Administration, Mykhailo Semikin, confirmed the attack and clarified that the strike hit a supermarket on the right bank, after which "a large-scale fire raged" there. The official also characterized the targets: "The terrorists' targets in Zaporizhzhia today are civilian enterprises, bus stops and the buses themselves, shopping centers." He also urged residents not to panic and not to buy food "on an industrial scale," drawing attention to the air raid alerts.

At 7:27 a.m. on Friday, September 18, the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SESU) reported that, as a result of the Russian attack by unmanned aerial vehicles, a fire broke out at the scene. It was noted that the work was complicated by constant threats of repeated enemy strikes, which forced firefighters to take cover.
