Ukrainian actress and active volunteer Anastasia Pustovit has spoken openly for the first time about her relationship with her beloved, who is serving in the army. In an interview with Masha Efrosinina, the star explained the reasons why she kept her partner's identity hidden from the public for a long time and shared details of their life together during the war.
Why the Fiancé's Name Was a Secret
Recently, Pustovit broke her silence and published joint photos with her future husband. Until this moment, she had carefully guarded her relationship from prying eyes. The actress admitted that the decision to keep things private was dictated by two factors: the requirements of military service and the desire to maintain privacy.
"First of all, it is his service. He asks that he not be highlighted too much. He says: 'You can post photos with me and so on.' Secondly, there is huge activity on my page right now. I don't want him to face any danger or anything else," Anastasia explained.
The Identity of the Chosen One and the Price of Publicity
After announcing the engagement, the actress did reveal her fiancé's name — Vladimir Litvinov. According to Pustovit, like herself, he is not a supporter of an active life in the spotlight. The actress emphasized that publicity requires tremendous effort and it is important to have a place where one can be oneself, without unnecessary noise.
"Publicity is very difficult. There must be some place where you have no publicity. I don't want to see extra people in my bed," the star noted.
Support and Trials at a Distance
Vladimir has become not only Anastasia's fiancé but also her main support in life. She described him as her best friend, who accepts her in all states — tired, sleepy, and without makeup. He is the first to know about important events in her life.
However, the couple's relationship is undergoing a serious test. Due to Vladimir's military service, the lovers are forced to maintain contact at a distance, which complicates future planning. "It is very difficult to build a relationship at a distance with a soldier, to try to maintain it and plan some future together," Pustovit admitted.
Love Story and the Choice of Fate
Anastasia and Vladimir began dating six months before the start of the full-scale invasion. After the war began, the man went as a volunteer, while the actress devoted herself to volunteer activities, for which she received the Order "For Merit" of the III degree in April.
Interestingly, regarding the decision to go to the front, Vladimir did not consult with his beloved. At that time, the couple planned to start living together, but the man made his choice independently. Pustovit took this with understanding, noting the importance of respecting another person's freedom.
"I understand that no matter what I say, it would not affect anything. I probably wouldn't say anything. It is his own choice. Somewhere your freedom ends and another person's freedom begins. And this freedom must be respected," the actress shared.
Recall that Anastasia officially announced the engagement in May, appearing at the Cannes Film Festival with an engagement ring. Previously, in an interview, she also touched upon topics of psychological problems, professional difficulties, and injustice in the army.
