The famous Ukrainian band ANTITILA has presented their new single titled "OK" along with an official music video. This composition will be included in the band's upcoming studio album, which the musicians are currently working on in the studio.
Background and Concept of the Composition
The band's new work is an ironic yet deeply sincere story about a person's psychological state. Adults often get used to fighting for survival and happiness, subconsciously doubting good things and postponing joyful moments for an indefinite "later". The song captures that turning point when a person stops looking for hidden catches in pleasant events and finally allows themselves to fully enjoy life even in the most difficult times.
Band frontman Taras Topolia noted that he realized the special acuity of perception and the value of every lived day while being at the front under shelling. According to him, the constant threat made him understand that living in a state of constant expectation of catastrophe is a dead end, as life can end at any second.
Directing and Visuals
The music video was directed by Dmytro Shmurak, who has repeatedly collaborated with ANTITILA. The main characters of the video are children: they sincerely fall in love, make friends, mischief, and laugh without trying to calculate the future or justify their own joy. This vivid artistic contrast emphasizes the main idea of the track that children's perception of the world is free from guilt for being happy.
Concert Plans and Tour
Starting October 16, fans will be able to hear the song "OK" live during the band's large-scale all-Ukrainian tour titled "Doma 2:0". The musicians plan to perform in almost 30 cities of Ukraine, continuing their successful spring tour that concluded with three sold-out shows at the Kyiv Sports Palace.
